Trails of the past
The construction of Lodge Thasang Village began in the early 2000s when there were no roads that led to the place where the lodge stands today. The primary means of transportation during the construction of the lodge was by foot or through a caravan of donkeys and horses.
Today, the lodge is easily accessible via road networks and air travel. It is 2 kilometres from the nearest highway and can be reached via jeep or car. For air travel, Jomsom airport is 20 kilometres from the lodge.
